What HZB Thikana collects
HZB Thikana is a multi-city property-discovery marketplace focused initially on Hazaribag and Ranchi. We process account email, profile name and photo, private phone number, seller role, property information, precise property coordinates, uploaded media, saved properties, conversations, voluntarily shared chat locations, ratings, reports, verification activity, purchase records and limited technical service logs.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate users, display and manage listings, provide chat and notifications, verify purchases, prevent abuse, investigate reports, provide support and maintain service security.
What other users can see
User account phone numbers and email addresses are not displayed publicly. The operator’s public business contact details are published on our support page. Published listing details, photos and the chosen property pin are visible to signed-in users. Chat content is available to its participants and may be reviewed by authorized moderators when needed for safety, dispute handling or legal compliance.
Services involved
We use Cloudflare Pages for website hosting and delivery; Supabase for authentication, database and storage services; Expo and React Native services for the application; MSG91 for requested phone verification; Brevo for authentication email delivery; Google Play for Android distribution and purchases; and map or device providers when a user chooses location features. These providers process data under their own applicable terms.
Browser storage
The website stores your sign-in session and preferences in browser storage. Its service worker caches only a public offline message, not your chats, private media or account responses. Clear browser website data or log out when using a shared device.
Permissions
Location permission is requested only for automatic property-pin selection or voluntary chat-location sharing. Camera and photo access are requested only when a user chooses those features.
Your choices
Users can edit profile and listing information, remove their listings and photos, report abuse, block users and request account deletion from Account → Settings. A request may require identity confirmation. Some records may be retained when required for fraud prevention, disputes or legal obligations.
